this artwork symbolizes the poor, their being resourceful, struggling in times of hunger. i used junk pieces then scanned them one by one.. the artwork is entitled matang bakal, comes from the name of a native fish here in the philippines, the matang baka (cow's eye). this is actually my winning entry to the 36th Shell National Student Art Contest here in the philippines...
